A Great DB2 10 Resource

I recently came across this post about a new form of IBM technical media. I'll let IBM's Susan Visser explain:

"First, what is a Flashbook? This is a name that I made up to describe the short, easy-to-read books that we publish for conferences such as IBM’s Information on Demand Conference. IBM delivers a huge quantity of messages and content at the conferences, in newsletters, in blogs, and on websites. How can you possibly retain all the key messages? That’s why I like these Flashbooks so much. We create them so that you can take away the key messages for a particular product area."

Since one of these Flashbooks is devoted to DB2 10 -- and is written by industry experts Roger Miller, Dave Beulke, Julian Stuhler and Surekha Pureka -- I thought I'd check it out. "DB2 10 for z/OS Cost Savings … Out of the Box" is really well written and has some good information that's designed to help companies understand the benefits of DB2 10 for z/OS. Some of the largest DB2 users in the industry also share their experiences with the DB2 10 beta.

This is a great resource for those who want to learn more about DB2 and how to upgrade to DB2 10 for z/OS.
